2024 NFTE South Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Finalists Coach
The culminating event of every NFTE program is the Regional Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. We are looking for various members of the NFTE volunteer community to serve as business plan coaches for students from across the South region. NFTE coaches are composed of a mix of investors and industry experts, including venture capitalists, angel investors, investment bankers, seasoned entrepreneurs, and business professionals of all kinds. We seek a good balance of volunteers that mirror and model the demographic diversity of our young entrepreneurs.

As a Business Plan Coach, you will work with either a small group of students or an individual student to help them refine their business idea, review their progress on their business plan, and provide overall feedback as they prepare for finals.
Tech requirements:
- Device (computer or tablet) with a camera and mic, you must be 'camera ready'
- Strong internet connection for a web-conference
- Ability to connect to Zoom videoconferencing, this may require using your personal device if your organization blocks Zoom
How to prepare:
- NFTE will provide you with a calendar and Zoom link upon your confirmation as a coach.
- NFTE will provide you with the setup and additional workshop materials for the session at least 2 days in advance.
- You do not need to prepare any materials ahead of time - just your own career knowledge and passion for connecting with the next generation of leaders.
We rely on volunteers from the business and entrepreneurial community to bring real-world insights and expertise to the classroom experience!
