2023 NFTE South Road to Nationals Virtual Coaching
Volunteers are critical to every NFTE student’s learning experience. They bring concepts and ideas to life and connect the classroom to today’s changing work environment. As students prepare for the NFTE National Entrepreneurship Challenge, connecting with a business professional to move their business concept and presentation forward is immeasurably valuable.
As a Road to Nationals Coach, you will be working with one of the South Regional winners that are preparing to head into the next stage of the competition: The National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. Students need your help perfecting their presentations, refining their pitches, and practicing their responses to possible questions from judges.This opportunity is virtual.
Coaching Sessions Date and Time:
- Date: Wednesday, August 23 | Time: 5:00 - 6:00 PM CST
- Date: Tuesday, September 12 | Time: 10:50 - 11:50 AM CST
- Date: Wednesday, September 20 | Time: 5:00 - 6:00 PM CST
Please note: You are not required to attend every session if you sign up. However, we would love to have you at as many sessions as your schedule allows to provide our students with consistency.
Tech requirements:
- Device (computer or tablet) with a camera and mic, you must be 'camera ready'
- Strong internet connection for a webconference
- Ability to connect to Zoom videoconferencing, this may require using your personal device if your organization blocks Zoom
How to prepare:
- NFTE will provide you with the setup and additional workshop materials for the session at least 2 days in advance.
- NFTE will provide you with a calendar and Zoom link upon your confirmation as a coach.
