2021 NFTE North Texas Youth Entrepreneurship Summit-General
Our NFTE North Texas program office is excited to launch the North Texas Youth Entrepreneurship Virtual Summit with middle school students from Bexar County Academy and the Academy of Dallas Charter School. Students from these schools will come together to network with business professionals from various fields during a career exploration session. In addition, students will learn and gain skills on personal financial literacy through an interactive session to explore manage income, expenses, and savings and gain a better understanding of the value of money.
We are looking for volunteers to serve in the following capacity from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM CT.
Your Role
You will serve as a support lead to the facilitator for this interactive workshop with a small group of students focused on the following personal financial literacy topics: the value of money, savings, income and managing expenses.
Prep Materials: The NFTE and Comerica Team will send you the facilitator’s guide, slide deck, and materials needed for the session.
Orientation: There will be a brief volunteer orientation to ensure you are prepared to lead your session, and during this time you will meet the other volunteer assigned to serve as the facilitator during your breakout room.
