2026 NFTE Capital Region Pitch Competition with IDEA PCS HS (In-Person)
The culminating event of every NFTE program is the end of the program/school year pitch competition. NFTE is looking for in-person volunteers to serve as judges at IDEA PCS HS on May 15, 2026. We are looking for various members of the NFTE volunteer community to review business plans submitted by NFTE students from across the Capital region. NFTE judging panels are composed of a mix of investors and industry experts, including venture capitalists, angel investors, investment bankers, seasoned entrepreneurs, and business professionals of all kinds.
As a in-person judge, you will have the important role of determining which student business offers the most innovative solution to a real-world problem and demonstrates a strong entrepreneurial mindset. You will also have the opportunity to provide constructive feedback to the student businesses on their business ideas LIVE and in-person with the NFTE students. The top business will advance to the Capital Regional Showcase at the end of the school year.

- Upon registration approval, the NFTE Team will send you a calendar invite for the pitch competition session.
- Within THREE business days of the pitch competition, the NFTE Team will send you prep materials for your role as an in-person judge.
