NFTE Capital Region Field Trip to MCAAD with Cardoza HS
NFTE is looking for in-person volunteers to serve as volunteer chaperones/leads for our NFTE students during the NFTE + Cardoza High School Field Trip to the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream! During this field trip, volunteers will serve as lead chaperones and support students as they experience the NFTE exhibit at the museum. Volunteers will help students explore the power of entrepreneurship via the perspective of various NFTE alumni and NFTE activities featured in the exhibit.
Date and Time: Monday, March 30, 2026 from 10:30 AM-2:00 PM ET
Location: Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream (1503 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20005)

Here's what you need to know before we go:
Volunteer Role with Each Student Small Group:
- You will lead a group of 5-8 high school students
- Everything is intended to be self-paced and interactive
- Students will have a "Pocket Guide" to complete as they explore the museum
- You do not need to be an expert on any of the exhibits
- Engage in conversations with your students regarding what you see and learn together
- NFTE will provide paper copies of the following agenda:
Logistics:
- Meet at the main entrance between 10:30 - 10:45am
- There is no onsite parking; the facility is accessible by Metro or local parking garages
- The NFTE Team will provide you with your museum entrance ticket
- NFTE is providing boxed lunches at 12:30pm
- Students will depart at 2pm
