2025 NFTE Southeast Innovation Day in Miami (In Person)
Empower a young person to start their entrepreneurial journey to a better future. NFTE ignites the entrepreneurial mindset and builds startup skills in youth from under-resourced communities to ensure their success and to create a more vibrant society. We rely on volunteers from the business and entrepreneurial community to bring real-world insights and expertise to the classroom experience. Please note this is an in-person volunteer opportunity.
NFTE's World Series of Innovation (WSI) invites young people to get involved in solving the biggest challenges facing humanity today and help advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Innovation Days are community events that pair students and volunteers in a day of learning, preparing student teams to participate in World Series of Innovation.
You will coach teams, help them brainstorm and understand their customers, and develop innovative solutions for the challenge. You will facilitate the process for students as they build their creative confidence and business development skills through the Design Thinking process.
You will then evaluate teams as they present their fast pitch to the challenge. Judges look for students' understanding of their customers and innovative business solutions. You will provide valuable feedback so that students can continue working on their business solutions while improving their professional and presentation skills.
