Entrepreneurship Summit
Our NFTE South program office is excited to hold the South Youth Entrepreneurship Summit with students from all over the South region. Students will come network with business professionals to learn and gain skills in entrepreneurship, social media, and the art of pitching through interactive sessions during the morning and afternoon.
Volunteers are critical to every (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) NFTE student’s learning experience. As a volunteer, YOU bring concepts and ideas to life and connect the classroom to today’s changing work environment.

Where: Ellis Davis Field House (9191 S Polk St, Dallas, Texas, 75232)
During this Fast Pitch Coaching session, you will help build students’ confidence and presentation skills while providing business insights and suggestions for their business ideas. You’ll be matched up with students (1-3) who want support on their business pitch and plan. Students will begin by presenting their fast pitch and then you will ask follow-up questions and offer feedback.

Session 1: 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM CST
Session 2: 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM CST
Due to the incredible amount of support and interest from our volunteer community, this opportunity is limited to 8 participants per session. You are welcome to express interest in one or more sessions, however, NFTE does reserve the right to only approve one minimally depending on the volume of volunteer sign-ups.
How to prepare:
- Once confirmed, you will receive an official calendar invite with the session overview materials.
- The NFTE team will provide tips on how to prepare.
- A oriAnntation for coaches will take place at the beginning of the event, which is already included in your volunteer time commitment.
