South Florida Startup Summer Mentor

We are so pleased you have chosen to be a part of our 2016 StartUp Summer Camp. This camp is specialized for NFTE alumni who are ready to take their business plans to the next level through an advanced bootcamp, curriculum, and mentor support. We need you to bring your professional expertise and generosity of time and spirit to serve as a part our Business Mentoring Cohort.

As a part of the cohort, you will be matched up with an alumni business and meet on a weekly basis to really help the alumni identify the strengths and opporunities in their business plan, sharpen their professional skills, and further develop their idea to bring it to fruition. The Mentoring Cohort is truly at the core of the StartUp Summer mission.

Some Fine Print:
- You may make 2 of the sessions virtually via webconference but must plan ahead of time with both the alumni and the Volunteer Manager
- You are permitted to miss 1 session with advanced notice
- If able, we will partner you with another mentor for support
- You will go through a 30 minute orientation (either in person or via webconference) prior to your first session

Logistics & Parking:
Please arrive 10 minutes early for arrival/check in at the Idea Center located at 300 NE 2nd Ave, Building 8, 5th Floor, Miami, FL 33132. There is ample Pay-By-Phone street parking around the building as well as a free parking ramp located on NE 5th Street. You can also easily get to the Idea Center from the MetroMover (College/Bayside Station).
