North Texas Youth Entrepreneurship Summit

Friday, November 15, 2019          UNT Dallas, 7300 University Hills Blvd, Dallas, TX

The North Texas Youth Entrepreneurship Summit is the region's largest entrepreneurship conference targeting students ages 11-18. The Summit brings hundreds of NFTE students and their teachers to the University of North Texas Dallas for a day of hands-on learning and inspiration. Students will engage with volunteers from the business community in variety of linked learning workshops, offering their business insights and connecting the classroom to the business ecosystem. The day will also include a keynote speaker that brings the entrepreneurial mindset to life and a university tour to promote college access.

As a coach, you will be working with a small group of students during one of the breakout sessions. All workshops are facilitated by NFTE and subject-matter experts. You will receive an orientation prior to your session and do not need to prepare in advance for the day. Both morning & afternoon volunteer sessions will overlap with lunch where you are invited to connect with students in a more informal format. If you are interested in volunteering for the entire day, please make sure that you sign up for both time slots.
