UIC Advisory Team
NFTE Advisory Program
Committing to the NFTE Chicago Advisory Program means committing
to 4 engagements with NFTE throughout the school year.
Typically, those sessions fall in October, November, February and March.
At NFTE, our goal is to help young people find their own pathways to success by exposing
them to real world skills that entrepreneurs and professionals must possess and master in
order to be successful. Our program teaches these skills through activities that are
designed to be fun and experiential. The NFTE course demonstrates the relevance of
students’ reading, writing, and math skills and asks students to solve problems that today’s
entrepreneurs and business professionals face. No matter what our young people want to
do in life, understanding how businesses work and exhibiting an entrepreneurial mindset
are critical for success.
