Clinton Startup Tech EXPO Judge

Clinton DeWitt Elementary leads it's student body to become positive contributors to a global society, offering NFTE's Start-up Teach to its middle schoolers. 

NFTE’s Start-up Tech Intro a blended coding and entrepreneurship course allows students to identify ways to improve their world and build marketable digital solutions using MIT app inventor. Students create an original app that addresses a community need, develop a corresponding original abbreviated business plan and marketing materials, and present in a Startup Showcase expo for the chance to win funding and publicity.
 
The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Startup Tech EXPO is an opportunity for individuals from the Chicago community to serve as judges and become a part of the groundwork for a new generation of diverse entrepreneurs!

Judges are an important part of our students’ experiential learning, students use feedback from judges as an essential component in their business portfolio for the Start-up Teach class! Judges will receive on-site training and be assigned a schedule of student businesses to evaluate during the EXPO.
