2021 NFTE Southeast: YEC SUT Finals Judging
The culminating event of every NFTE program is the Regional Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. You are invited to attend this virtual business pitch competition event as a member of the NFTE entrepreneurial community.
During this round of the competition, you will review student business, provide live feedback and ask live questions, and deliberate with a group of other judges to decide which business to advance to the final round.
The top Southeast businesses will compete for a prize award for their business.

Your Role
As a judge, you will review 3-4 student business plans (business summation and demo of app) live via Remo and determine which offer the most innovative solution to a real world problem and demonstrates a student’s strong entrepreneurial mindset. Using our rubric form which we will provide, you will score each presentation and also provide constructive feedback for students on their business plans and presentation skills.
During this round of the competition, you will review student business, provide live feedback and ask live questions, and deliberate with a group of other judges to decide which business to advance to the final round.
The top Southeast businesses will compete for a prize award for their business.

Your Role

- Tech requirements: Computer and strong internet connection; Google Chrome (Remo platform)
- How to prepare: NFTE staff will provide you with a guide and judge orientation which includes review of student business pitch templates and scoring rubric
