St Louis Lab Day: Competition Coaching

NFTE Lab Days bring subject matter experts into the classroom to share their skillset with budding entrepreneurial thinkers. Opportunities are curriculum-aligned to ensure relevancy so that students can easily apply lessons and insights to their business concepts.  These coaching opportunities help our students apply the concepts directly into their business plans.



April: Competition Pitch
      

As a volunteer, you will coach students as they practice their competition pitches.  You will provide feedback on their prensetation skills and content of their presention.   The session will include volunteer training prior to student arrival on Zoom.  During the session, you will work in breakout rooms to help the students build out the concept within their business plans.  No prior knowledge of the subject matter but a willing desire to work with students to understand the concepts reviewed in the lesson.

**All volunteers will receive a follow-up meeting invitation that will include the Zoom link, instructions/agenda for the day, and the lesson in advance.**

 
  • Session 1:  Tuesday, April 13, 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM CST (includes 30 minute orientation)
  • Session 2:  Tuesday, April 27, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM CST 
  • Session 3:  Tuesday, May 11, 9:30 AM-10:15 AM CST
