Florida Startup Summer Business Advisor
Help a young person start their entrepreneurial journey to a better future. NFTE activates the entrepreneurial mindset and builds startup skills in youth from under-resourced communities to ensure their success and to create a more vibrant society. We rely on volunteers from the business and entrepreneurial community to bring real-world insights and expertise to the classroom experience.
Business Idea Generation & Validation Workshop:
As a business Coach, you will be assisting a small group of students as they develop and/or validate an innovative business opportunity. You will work with the students as they identify their unique skillsets and passions that can build a solution to a real-world problem.
Market ResearchWorkshop:
As a business Coach, you will be assisting a small group of students as they conduct market research and begin building a marketing strategy. You will work with students to uncover industry trends, gather customer data, and scope out their competition to further justify their business opportunity.
Building a Business Model Workshop:
As a business Coach, you will be assisting a small group of students as they build their business model. You will work with the students as they develop their production and delivery process, business model (based on the Economics of One Unit), and research fixed expenses that are necessary for their business.
Digital BrandingWorkshop:
As a business Coach, you will be assisting a small group of students as they create a digital branding strategy. You will work with studentsto develop a compelling story and social media strategy that aligns to their business opportunity and target market.
General Business Coaching& Competition Prep:
As a business Coach, you will be assisting a small group of students as they translate their business plans into a persuasive opportunity pitch deck. You may also work with students as they craft and practice their pitch and responses to possible questions from the judging panel.
